In collaboration with the International Mushing Sleddog School Sport Club it is possible to carry out also in Cortina d’ Ampezzo some unforgettable summer excursions on foot in Husky Dog Trekking, in an uncontaminated nature, with festive sled Dogs protagonists of trips and adventures in the Arctic and the Alps.
In the total 2 hours of planned activity the Dogs, properly harnessed and secured in front of you with a leash to a belt at the waist of each participant, become your affectionate fellow walkers as well as patient and inseparable personal trainers who will guide you in front of you.
This activity is suitable for anyone with a minimum of physical fitness, from the age of 5 years onwards and allows you to establish a fantastic relationship with the sled Dogs. Children or differently able persons compatible with this physical activity on foot, areaccompanied by an adult or, at the discretion of the Instructors, walk in a group of 3 or 4 with 1 Dog. The recommended clothing and footwear are the classic ones for walking in Trekking to allow you to move and walk easily on dirt roads.
Your instructors and guides will be Ararad Khatchikian and Monica D 'Eliso, unique Italian mushers (drivers of sleds and dogs) who have participated in competitions, adventures and international teaching experiences in Alaska (USA), Canadian Yukon, European Alps, Iceland, Swedish and Norwegian Lapland, literary authors and TV consultants for RAI TV and TG5 TV of the Animals * The Ark of Noah * and will be happy to share with you their many years of experience also with their exciting stories.
The places available are limited and the activity takes place upon obligatory booking, once the expected number of participants has been reached, every FRIDAYstarting from August 16th to September 13th 2019, from 9.30 am to 11.30 am.
