 I cannot deny that I could not hold back the tears when I became aware of this event in Nome.

 LANCE MACKEY's Comeback Kennel, Inc._ Forza10 USA Team and his team of 10 dogs rescue and save so Scott Janssen' s 11 dogs forcefully abandoned on the ice of the Bering Sea in the Norton Sound during a storm because of a severe frostbite of his musher evacuated by snowmobile.

 Lance has tied one in front of the other the two Dog teams by the driverless sled' s snow anchor line taking so into safety Scott' s Dogs. For this gesture at the closing ceremony of the Race to Nome, which I was attending too ... in a standing ovation Lance has been awarded the very important prize for the "Sportsmanship Award" between competitors.
